New product. New name
Dear customers,
We have an exciting announcement to share with you. After careful consideration, we have decided to change our name from timeBro to memtime.
Let's talk about the reasons behind this change and why we believe it is a positive step forward.
Reasons for the name change:
- timeBro was always about being a friendly little helper that tracks every activity for you - but protects your privacy.
- While this name was undoubtedly catchy, we have to admit that it never did much for our positioning as a memory aid.
- We wanted to change that and use the opportunity to contribute to brand comprehension the first time people hear our name.
- Also, the name component "Bro" hasn't aged well, as it is increasingly associated with the so-called "Bro Culture" that has emerged in recent years - which we want nothing to do with.
Furthermore, there are several reasons why the name memtime better represents our product and mission.
Why memtime is a better fit:
- Memtime combines two words: "memorize" and "time." This name accurately conveys the essence of our product - the ability to remember your time.
- Our mission is to help you save as much time tracking effort as possible - while guaranteeing your data stays private.
- The new name reflects this by emphasizing our product is solely about helping people remember - and not about any form of employee monitoring.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to embarking on this new chapter with you as memtime.
If you have any questions or comments regarding our rebranding or our new product (V4.0), please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to listen and assist you.
