Memtime is integrated with both Xero Practice Manager and Xero Projects out of the box. You don’t need any custom setup to connect your account; it can be done during the initial configuration or at any point later on. Other bookkeeping software integrations available in Memtime include FreshBooks, Freeagent, and Zoho Books.
No, Memtime doesn’t support GPS tracking on mobile. Memtime is a desktop-only app available for devices running Windows, macOS, and Linux. We keep all automatically recorded activities on the device Memtime is installed on. There’s no cross-device sync, which is how we protect the privacy of your timekeeping data.
Memtime is not yet available on Xero App Store. You can download the app from the Memtime website before or after creating your account and starting a free trial. Automatic time tracking begins as soon as you’ve installed the Memtime app on your computer. From that point on, you can go back to any day and retrospectively log time on Xero projects and tasks.
Yes, Memtime follows your mouse and keyboard input to read the name of the program running in the foreground and track your time in said program down to the minute. Even if you have many programs and files open at once, Memtime will capture all of them. You can also tell Memtime to make exceptions and never record specific programs, e.g. Facebook or YouTube.
Memtime allows you to automatically capture your time in programs in 1-60 minute increments. Based on the increment you choose, you can see your days in more or less detail. E.g. if you set your zoom level at 1 minute, you’ll see a long activity timeline with every small task displayed. If you opt for the 15 or 30-min interval, you’ll see a shorter timeline with the dominant activity displayed for each interval.
