Memtime can automatically track your time in 1, 5, or 6-minute increments. To easily visualize your day, you can choose between our default intervals of 5 or 6 minutes. Then you can see your day at a glance in your precise billing increments.
If your law firm bills in ⅙ of an hour, you can set Memtime to display your workday in 10-minute intervals. By having your day chronologically arranged in the right intervals, you don’t need to do any rounding.
12-minute increments are available once you’ve set your default interval to 6 minutes. For each 12-minute interval, you’ll see the most prominent activity. This simplifies organizing your work by case and grouping times correctly.
15-minute increments is the most common setup for Memtime users from all industries. If your firm charges in increments of ¼ of an hour, you can have it as your default view. Similar to other increments, you’ll see the most prominent recorded activity displayed for each interval, with the option to zoom in.
0.5 hour increments are most often used by law firms and private practitioners who charge a flat fee for their legal services or work on a retainer. The 30-minute increment view is handy if you handle a few client cases at a time and want to have a general understanding of where your time goes.
The 1-hour increment is the longest time interval available in Memtime for visualizing your workday. It gives you a top-level view of your time in programs, documents, emails, and files throughout the day. By clicking on the dominant activity for each interval, you can open a detailed view with all activities captured.
